Client Intake Coordinator
Part Time: 24 hours/week
The Client Intake Coordinator at Advice & Aid must build and foster professional relationships with staff, volunteers, clients, and visitors. The coordinator must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, changing environment. Also, must be able to stay composed, patient, and empathic when faced with difficult situations or people. Must be able to actively listen and defuse situations as needed.
The Client Intake Coordinator performs clerical tasks in support of Advice & Aid’s mission. The Client Intake Coordinator acts as the “first impression”, greeting clients and answering the phone in a professional and respectful manner, presenting Advice & Aid as a life-affirming organization qualified and desiring to serve them. Works in cooperation with the entire client services team to assure that every client receives all appropriate services. This position also serves as a client advocate, providing clients with information about their options.
The successful candidate needs excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to organize and prioritize work, and the ability to approach people easily. Bilingual preferred. Experience working in a Christian/Non-Profit ministry a plus.
Must be a committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus who actively participates in a local, Bible-believing church, demonstrates a consistently life-affirming philosophy, and subscribe to and support the Vision, Mission, Statement of Faith, and Policies & Procedures of Advice & Aid.
