Advice & Aid is about more than just helping women through their immediate crisis and saving babies.  Our mission states that we serve families before, during and after their pregnancy.  The Connections program is designed to fulfill the “during” and “after” parts of that mission statement and to follow through on the, “We’ll walk through this with you,” offer that we often make in our initial counseling appointments.

Our Connections Mission Statement:
Equipping and supporting new parents who have embraced an unplanned pregnancy by providing a safe, loving, compassionate environment where they can prosper and grow.

During their two years in our Connections program, we strive to move new parents from a position of “needing” to one of self-sufficiency and giving.

To provide a well-balanced, holistic program, we address the full person:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Intellectual
  • Spiritual

We strive to provide programming that addresses our clients’ most pressing needs:

  • Parenting
  • Support
  • Relationships
  • Mentoring
  • Material Aid
  • Education

Finally, we desire to bless program participants with material aid such as diapers and wipes, children’s clothing, gift cards, Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts.

Our Connections Program is designed to help expectant mothers, new mothers and fathers. We meet on Monday nights at our facility, and provide a meal for Connections participants once a month. Nursery care is provided to children birth through age 3 to enable more clients and fathers to participate in the program.
