Operations Director

Full Time: 32 hours/week

Under the direction of and in coordination with the Executive Director, the Operations Director is responsible for the multiple administrative functions of Advice & Aid including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accounting and finance, human resources; administrative policies including the Employee and Volunteer Handbook; information technology; facilities and security; and volunteer recruiting. 

 

The principal duties and responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing the work of the Bookkeeper regarding the processing and recording of payroll;
  • Assist  the Executive Assistant to maintain an understanding of the donor recording functions as they relate to accounting;
  • Work in coordination with the Executive Director, Leadership Team, Accountant, and Board Finance Team in preparing and gaining approval of the annual budget; 
  • Responsible for overseeing annual budget performance and working with the Executive Director and the Leadership Team on corrective actions when needed.  
  • This position will also assist with Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities/Security, Project Planning, and Volunteer Recruitment and Records. 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources is preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through
  • Proficient in office 365 and data analysis. 
  • Must have the ability to work cooperatively with a servant Christian heart – as part of a team.  Experience working in a Christian/Non-Profit ministry is a plus.  

Must be a committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus who actively participates in local, Bible-believing church.  Demonstrates a consistently life-affirming philosophy. Must subscribe to and support the Vision, Mission, Statement of Faith, and Policies & Procedures of Advice & Aid.

Community Relations Director

Full Time: 32 hours/week

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Community Relations Director (CDC) participates as a member of the Advice & Aid Leadership Team. The CRD manages relationships with people and organizations outside of Advice & Aid.  In coordination with the Executive Director, this position helps oversee the donor cultivation function at Advice & Aid.  Responsibilities also include establishing and building relationships with the Key Donors of Advice &Aid Pregnancy Centers. 

 

The Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help define, establish and maintain appropriate relationship strategies and goals for the various donor segments. 
  • Develop strategies, communication processes, and literature to help increase donor retention; 
  • Provide the Executive Director with insight and recommendations based on analysis and reporting from the Donor Relationship Management System.
  • Help Executive Director in the development of the annual fundraising budget.
  • Represent Advice & Aid as a speaker for churches, organizations, and events; at times work some evenings and weekends. 
  • Responsible for all the supervisory responsibilities of the Special Events/Community Outreach Coordinator 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • An outgoing personality who genuinely enjoys people and with the ability to build rapport quickly.  Experience working with donor or sales management software a plus. 
  •  Ability to learn and navigate various cloud-based software and websites for donor management, communications, event planning, etc.  
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through.  
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a servant Christian heart – as part of a team.  
  • Experience working with donors in a Christian//Non-Profit ministry in community relations or marketing is a plus.
