There was no way I could have a baby right now, so there was only one way out. I want an abortion.

Abortion.  Wow.  There is a lot of emotion tied up in that one little word.  And frankly, not all of it was good emotion.  But as far as I could see, there was only one obvious choice for me to make.

Thinking back on it, it really did seem like the easiest choice for me at the time.  After all, one quick in-clinic procedure and then I could go on with my life.

Except that’s when I started reading about abortion. I mean, really reading about it.  Like, what exactly are they doing during that “one quick procedure?”

There was a lot of information out there that was new to me.  And I had no idea all of the possible complications and effects that could happen.  I try to take pretty good care of my body and some of those risks sounded pretty scary to me.

That’s when I picked up the phone and called Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers.  I needed ALL of my options . . . not just ONE option.  And you know what?  They laid it all out for me.  Not in a pushy, judgmental way.  But in a kind, “we truly care about you” way.

Above all, I felt like I had a true friend in my Client Advocate.  A friend who was looking out for what was best for me.  A friend who would tell it to me straight.

I’ve finally made my decision about what is right for me.  As for what is right for you?  I can’t answer that.  But I do know someone who can help you sort it all out with all of the facts and information you need.
